This section of the website will teach you some intermediate tricks. If these seem too hard for you, please go to the beginner section of this website.
Flying Squirrel Grab: This trick combines a melon and a stalefish. Grab the heelside of the board with both of your hands and then pull the board and push your knees down. Then let go and put the board back under your feet. I think I have a picture of this in the "Photos" section, but it's not very extended.
Flatground 180: Practice your 180's off a ramp before you try this. It's just like a 180, but you have to jumg high and spin fast. It's not too hard of a trick, you'll learn it quickly. It might be hard for smaller riders to get all the way around.
360 Noseroll: This trick works best with a quarter pipe. Just ride up the quarter pipe switch, and when you start to slowdown do a regular noseroll. Stay in a manual position then complete the other half of the 360 noseroll. This trick will take some practice, but once you learn it it's a great trick to show off with.
Frontside 180 Grab: This trick is just like a frontside 180, but you grab the board when you're halfway around. You'll need to follow the steps for the frontside 180 in the beginner section of this website, only pull your knees towards you more. Then simply reach out and grab the board. Nosegrabs are the easiest grab for this trick, in my opinion.
Backside 180 Grab: These are really fun to do Japan airs with. Just jump and do a bs 180, then pull your knees up when you're about halfway around. Grab the board in the desired position, and continue the rotation to land it.
Backside 360: This is the easiest 360. Just do a backside 180, then look straight forward (the way you're moving) and bring the rest of your body around. If you're looking down, you're probably not going to land this trick. This might take you a few tries.
Frontside 360: This trick is harder than a backside 360 because you usually spin slower and for the last 180 you can't see forward. Just start off like a frontside 180, and then just keep spinning. Lean as hard as you can, and spot the landing. Then just bring the board around and land it. This trick will take you a while to learn.
Flatground 360 (Backside): For this trick you'll need to be good at backside 360's. Just do one on without a ramp. The idea is simple enough, but you have to jump really high and spin really fast. First learn how to 180 without a ramp. Remember to look forward as you near the end of your rotation.
Cliff Drop: For a cliff drop, just find a vertical drop with a sloped landing. The steeper it is, the softer you'll land. Just jump off the ledge and keep your balance as you fall. Lean a little forward to match the slope and then land it. Don't go off a 20 foot cliff on your first try. Practice this on 2-3 foot ledges first.
Flatground Switch 360: For this trick, ride switch and do a 360. It's like all other 360's, just a little harder. It's kind of like a noseroll to a backside 180, only don't have your front wheels on the ground. You could also do it the other way, but that's a lot harder.
Handstand: I'm not sure if I made this up or not, probably not, but anyways, do a handstand with the board on your feet above your head. For this, lean way forward and do a handstand. The idea of it is pretty simple, but it might take you a while to learn. The most common problem is not being able to get completely vertical. That's just practice. You'll get it eventually. It helps to be riding then do a 90 degree turn and you'll automatically go forward then just put your hands down and lift up your legs.
